Where Russell T. Hargrove walked, you could bet he walked the right side of the street. When it came to the partners of Heart and Hargrove Private Investigations, he was the one who was responsible. He handled the finances. He cut the checks. Balanced the accounts. And then, at least on paper, he made sure everything was on the up-and-up.
He was also wise enough to know how important it was to have an Elias Heart. If you wanted to be a private investigations company, Elias Heart was the thing you needed: ex-cop, with more skeletons in his past than a graveyard on Halloween. He was the one who would roll up his sleeves and roll around in the mud. It wasn’t pretty, but it got results.
